Racing driver Oleksandr Kosogov has been stripped of his DPN racing license, a mandatory license required for competition at the Nordschleife circuit. The Mühlner Motorsport team driver, competing behind the wheel of the Porsche Cayman GT4 CS No. 999, was caught violating regulations by driving at a speed of 201 km/h in a double yellow flag zone during qualifying on April 18, leading to the revocation of his license.
According to Nordschleife rules, double yellow flags require drivers to reduce speed to 120 km/h and prohibit overtaking.
Oleksandr himself is a well-known figure in Ukrainian motorsport, having been the Ukrainian drift champion in 2019 and 2021. He has also participated in international competitions such as Driftmasters and Ukrainian Endurance.
