Despite the significant setback, the mechanics have not given up and continue intensive repairs. Team representatives have officially stated that they hope to fix the car and definitely return it to the track before the finish of the endurance marathon.
Therefore, there remains a possibility that we will still see Max Verstappen behind the wheel in the Green Hell, although now it will be a fight for prestige and invaluable experience.
