Red Bull Considers Mark Webber to Replace Helmut Marko as Verstappen May Move to McLaren
According to F1-Insider, Mark Webber could replace Helmut Marko at Red Bull, while Max Verstappen might transfer to McLaren and Oscar Piastri would become a Red Bull driver. This scenario resembles a plot from Drive to Survive.
♦ Rumors about Red Bull never end
The publication F1-Insider has just shaken the paddock with absolutely wild rumors. According to their information, Red Bull management is seriously considering Mark Webber (former F1 driver and current manager of Oscar Piastri) as the main candidate to replace Helmut Marko.
But the most interesting part is yet to come. This personnel move is said to be part of a grand scheme: Max Verstappen would sensationally leave the Austrian team and move to McLaren. Meanwhile, Oscar Piastri would head in the opposite direction and become a new Red Bull driver.
It sounds like the perfect storyline for a new season of Drive to Survive, but Formula 1 has proven many times that nothing is impossible here… Do we believe it?
