Lando Norris Moderates His Stance on New F1 Regulations
Lando Norris commented on the new Formula 1 regulations, noting that cars rely less on downforce and feel more like junior series vehicles. However, he criticizes power unit rules that reduce driver control during races.
Lando Norris has once again shared his thoughts on the new regulations, but this time he was less categorical than before. "These cars rely much less on downforce and are more often on the edge. I enjoy driving them; they remind me of some junior series cars, and that's a big compliment," he said. However, he struggles not with the car itself but with what lies behind it—the power unit regulations. "In Japan, the battery activated on its own, even though I didn't want it to, and I had to overtake Lewis. As a result, I became an easy target on the next straight. This takes too much control away from the driver."
He has softened his tone. Perhaps later he will say he is thrilled with the regulations. Who knows, who knows.
