McLaren has unveiled the HY GTR test livery inspired by the M6A, Bruce McLaren's first championship-winning car. This livery marks McLaren's return to the WEC in 2027 and honors the founder's ambitions.

After winning Le Mans in 1966 with Ford, Bruce continued to dominate Can-Am in 1967. It was here, in the cockpit of the M6A, that he envisioned a return to Le Mans – this time with McLaren.
Unfortunately, he never saw this vision come to life. Now, as McLaren prepares to join the WEC championship in 2027, this test livery serves as a continuation of Bruce’s ambitions.
