Honda Does Not Expect Engine Performance Improvements at Miami Grand Prix
During the calendar break, Aston Martin and Honda managed to make progress, but it concerns the interaction between the engine and chassis. The possibilities to improve the engine's actual performance are significantly limited by regulations, so noticeable improvements may only occur after ADUO.
It was also revealed that after the Japanese Grand Prix, one of the Aston Martin cars was transported to Honda's base, where the Japanese team studied the issue of abnormal vibrations affecting the entire car, not just the monocoque. This was reported by Honda's track operations manager, Shintaro Orihara.
