It is expected that the prestigious position of sporting director for the Formula 1 team will be taken by the legendary Alan McNish, who currently leads the team's junior program successfully. However, there is an interesting detail. Rumor has it that one of the main candidates for this role was the controversially well-known former Ferrari strategist Iñaki Rueda, who is well acquainted with Audi's current boss Mattia Binotto. Ultimately, the German brand's management decided against this idea.
